Israel is a country that has a lot of natural places to visit. It is a country in the Middle East, between Europe and Asia, between the Mediterranean and the Syrian Desert and Desert of Arabia. This gives it an important variety and also numerous possibilities to enjoy activities in natural surroundings, with seas, rivers, desert,forests, and other ecosystems. You can observe the fauna, flora, landscapes, especially in the Hula National Park.

There are several areas of Isreal: the coast, mountains, and the Jordan Valley. These three areas are the most distinguished in the country. In the first of them, the coastal areas, you will find places like the Sinai Peninsula. Later there is the Mediterranean, where you find fertile land, and incredible landscapes. It is also an area where the main population nucleus is concentrated, especially the Mediterranean. But also there are other seashores, on the Sea of Galilee, and the Red Sea.

In the mountains in the north, they run next to Lebanon and go all the way to Eiliat in the south. This is a totally different scenery, with peaks over 1000 metres as the Monter Meron, or Hastor. The populations here are less populated than the coast, an the extreme climates in the area have promoted the exodus to the coasts.

Lastly, there is the Valley of Jordan, formed by seismic activity from millions of years ago. It gives this place a personal touch. Here you will find the longest river in Israel, the jordan River, and the Sea of Galilee, or Lake Kinneret.

Another natural space is the Golan Heights, to the East of the River Jordan.

Isreal has over 2000 species of flora, and many are endangered. There is a high concentration of vegetation in the more Mediterranean areas.

As far as the fauna, there are many species of animals that you will find here, mammals such as jackals in the desert, sea birds, land birds, and cetaceans.
